Thought I would take a little break from cleaning the house and the wonderful present the dog left me on the carpet. Then I went to see my brother in law.   Spent most of the day watching the trade deadline.  Not to much movement but a few good trades to be watched we will see how they turn out .  The biggest trade would be the Calgary trade  Olli Jokinen, they are going to be a force but still will not compare to Detroit and San Jose.  Vancouver didn’t take a dip into the market but I think they are strong with what they have.   

I am actually more interested in what deals were not done then the ones that were done.  Apparently there are some that were very close in getting made and the bottom fell out just before the deadline ended.
